1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using RichyBuy ("the Platform"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform. By registering, you represent and warrant that:

• You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts
• All information you provide is accurate, current, and complete
• You will maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You are not located in a country subject to trade sanctions

3. Account Registration & Security

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

4. Listing Guidelines

All listings must comply with the following rules:

• Accuracy: Listings must accurately represent the item or service being offered. Misleading descriptions or images are strictly prohibited.
• Legality: Items must be legal to sell in Nigeria. Prohibited items include:
• Illegal drugs and narcotics
• Firearms, ammunition, and weapons
• Counterfeit or replica products
• Stolen goods
• Endangered animal products
• Human organs or body parts
• Fake currencies and forged documents
• Pricing: Prices must be in Nigerian Naira (Ôéª) and clearly stated.
• Images: Photos must be your own or properly licensed. No watermarks from other platforms.

5. Prohibited Conduct

Users must not engage in any of the following:

• Posting duplicate or spam listings
• Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users
• Attempting to manipulate search rankings or listing visibility
• Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions
• Collecting user data without consent
• Using the platform for unauthorized commercial purposes
• Distributing malware or harmful code
• Impersonating any person or entity

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including logos, text, graphics, and software, is the property of RichyBuy or its licensors and is protected by Nigerian and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

7. Transactions & Payments

RichyBuy acts as an intermediary platform connecting buyers and sellers. We are not directly involved in the transaction between parties. Key points:

• All transaction terms are agreed upon between buyer and seller
• We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of listed items
• Payments processed through our Paystack integration are subject to Paystack's terms
• We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from transactions

8. Fees & Payments

Creating an account and listing items is free. Optional paid services include:

• Promoted Listings: Fees vary based on promotion duration and package
• Advertising: Custom advertising packages are available

All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change our fee structure with 30 days' notice.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion, including for violation of these Terms. Upon termination:

• Your access to the Platform will be revoked
• Active listings will be removed
• Any prepaid fees for active promotions will be forfeited

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RichyBuy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the greater of 50,000 or the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold RichyBuy harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

12. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the availability, reliability, or suitability of the Platform for your purposes.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.

14. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute:

1. Parties shall first attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting support
2. If unresolved, the dispute shall be referred to mediation
3. If mediation fails, the dispute shall be resolved through binding arbitration

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the Platform. We will notify users of material changes via email or platform notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
